Let’s face it, most of us have long since forsaken the pricey pleasures of champagne for the cheaper, cheerier fizz of prosecco. However, if you thought that Prosecco was just a poor man’s champagne, then you seriously need to get yourself down to Prosecco Springs.
London has a coffee week, a wine week, hell it even has a frappucino week. So it’s no surprise that we now have a Prosecco festival to go with it.
The venue for this year’s event is Hackney’s multi purpose Oval Space. This year’s event will mark the third consecutive year that the venue has hosted the prestigious event after the 2017 and 2018 festivals. Last year’s event, following on from the three day inaugural event in 2017, was a dazzling sold out success and 2019’s version is promising to be even bigger and better.
The producers of the event are promising more leading producers, more masterclasses, more Italian food and more Prosecco and City Countdown can hardly argue with that.
Each entry ticket for the festival includes:
- Eight sample glasses of Prosecco
- Entry to Oval Space for five hours
- Live music
The event will also showcase “a wide range of Italian street food” which will be available to purchase.
Prosecco Springs 2019 will open on Friday the 17th of May and finish on Sunday the 19th May 2019.
