A Tunnel of Light, scented Fire Garden and a beautifully illuminated Rose Garden are just a few of the attractions on offer for visitors to Kew this holiday season.
The visitor attraction in West London is now celebrating its eighth winter festival and the organisers of the event are promising that this year’s festival will be the biggest and best yet. It is hard to disagree with that logic when you see the list of attractions that Kew will be holding this winter.
The centrepiece of the event will undoubtedly be the spectacular Tunnel of Light, which will apparently be lit by a thousand twinkling fairy lights. If that were not enough, a spectacular scented Fire Garden will no doubt wow crowds as they make their way around the trail. Visitors will also delight in the dynamic laser projections on display in the iconic Temperate House.
Once you have worked up an appetite, you can avail yourself of the many “Treats Under Starry Skies” from Kew’s festive food and drink offering. This will include a range of festive refreshments including mulled wine, spiced cider, festive hot chocolate, roasting chestnuts and toasted marshmallows. Then, if you need to buy a few gifts, the Kew Gift Shop will be open throughout the evening for you to pick up that perfect present.
Christmas at Kew is open between Wednesday the 17th of November 2021 until Sunday the 9th of January 2022. The event is open from 4–10pm.
