If you love wine then you will be overjoyed to learn that London Wine Week is back this May with another incredible selection of choice wines to titillate your palate. This year’s festival will see an exciting array of events including al fresco parties, masterclasses, pop-ups and tastings with a dazzling selection of the wine world’s most exciting vintages cherry picked for your pleasure.
Even better still, this year’s festival pass is free with the pass giving visitors access to a range of wine “flights” – curated wine tasting events – taking place at over 125 participating bars.
The flights will showcase wines from different regions and vintages and give visitors an opportunity to sample a variety of wines in a single evening. Individual flight tickets costs £6 and the majority allow participants to sample a range of snacks alongside the wines.
The festival hub will be situated in Flat Iron Square this year, just a stones throw away from foodie favourite Borough Market. Hub is certainly the right term too as the square will be choc a bloc full of wine producers offering samples of their fare. So, if you love wine, then this will be the place to visit.
If that wasn’t enough, London Wine Week will also host a number of special events. Some of the events are free and others will require you to purchase a ticket. However, absolutely all of the events will give wine lovers a chance to get to know the world’s best vintages just a little bit better.
The full list of events will be released in the weeks leading up to the festival with Festival Pass holders getting an exclusive first look at what’s on.
