If you are searching for music festivals in London, then this precocious new entry to the London festival season might be exactly what you are looking for. The Ends Festival will be coming to Lloyd Park in late May with a stellar line up of talent ready to rock the stage.
Nas, Wizkid and Damian “Jr Gong” Marley, J Balvin, Nao, Maleek Berry and De La Soul are all part of the bill at the event, with more acts expected to be added as the festival approaches.
Highlights of the weekend are expected to include a performance by rap legends De La Soul. The band will be showcasing material from their as yet unreleased new album. The collection is scheduled to be released in mid 2019 with anticipation already building ahead of the release.
News of the album was dropped on Twitter by legendary producer Peter Rock. The album is being timed to coincide with the band’s 30th anniversary in the business.
A career that began with 1989’s critically acclaimed album 3 Feet High And Rising has seen the group scale the heights of rap superstardom.
Also gracing the stage at the festival will be British R&B/Afrobeat star Maleek Berry. Still riding on a wave of a claim following the release of his superb EP – The First Days of Winter – Berry will be looking to wow festival goers with his insanely catchy melodies and funky afrobeat influenced tracks.
The Ends festival will run from the 31st of May until the 2nd of Jun 2019.
