Bringing all the vibrance, energy, beauty and excitement of modern day Africa to central London for one breathtaking day, Africa On The Square is a not to be missed event at London’s Trafalgar Square.
Visitors to the festival can expect scintillating live music, mesmerising dance routines, bold and innovative fashion, and truck loads of amazing food.
Last year’s event saw the main stage host a talent show for young performers, a catwalk show and a plethora of musicians from all over the continent. Meanwhile, junior visitors to the Square had the opportunity to have their face painted or try mosaic-making in a series of free workshops.
Africa On The Square is organised by the Mayor of London’s office as a way of showcasing the continent to visitors and Londoners alike.
Over 25,000 people attended the event last year and this year’s event is expected to be even busier.
