Online events platform DICE.FM have today launched a powerful new streaming service that will allow culture lovers to watch their favourite artists in the comfort of their own homes. DICE TV will bring together the best new live events, while offering artists a way of connecting with their followers and making some much needed revenue at the same time.
Artists scheduled to perform on the platform include: Emily Burns, Jnr Williams, Jack Back (David Guetta), Deborah De Luca, Sasha, Lolo Zouaï, Zeds Dead and Hayden James with hundreds of new gigs being announced every day.
DICE.FM was founded in the UK in 2014. The platform has revolutionised the way fans discover and attend live events, with their user friendly app and simple purchase procedure.
A ‘Discover’ feature allows users to receive personalised recommendations for events, and the app’s digital ticketing system means that ticket touting is a thing of the past at DICE events.
In their six year history, DICE have worked with some of the most influential artists, promoters and festivals in the world, from A$AP Rocky to BICEP, and from FKA Twigs to the Primavera Sound Festival.
DICE TV will allow users of the service to discover a personalised selection of gigs, festivals and DJ sets, in addition to a curated selection of arts, culture and lifestyle events. Fans will be able to buy tickets for shows, make a donation to their favourite artist, or share an event with friends.
The CEO of DICE, Phil Hutcheon, had this to say about the initiative: “The simplicity of DICE and the discovery algorithms have been fine tuned for remote shows and we’re bringing personalised events for fans.
This is a crucial moment for the live industry to develop a sustainable ecosystem that helps creators and artists thrive. This is just the start – we have a dedicated team on DICE TV and this will grow to be a long term solution for the industry.”
