Six By Nico restaurant might just be the perfect proposition for Londoners who crave something new and exciting from the capital’s dining scene.
The chain, which will open its first London restaurant later this month, is famous for its ever changing menus, evocative cuisine and theatrical touches.
The website for the restaurant describes the concept thus: “each six weeks, Six by Nico takes guests on a thrilling journey through time, spaces and places with a unique and affordable six course tasting experience. Once the six week time period is up, however, each menu will disappear forever – never to be cooked or tasted again. “
The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Nico Simone, who founded the business in Glasgow in 2017. Beginning with one small restaurant in the Finnieston area of the city, the concept soon proved a success, with the Simeone adding further branches in Manchester, Liverpool, and Belfast. In total, the chain now have six branches with the London opening set to make it seven.

“We can’t wait to bring a completely new offering and dining experience to the London restaurant scene and by challenging ourselves to change our menu and concept theme every six-weeks, we feel we have created the perfect recipe for an exciting culinary adventure for not just our diners, but our team too,’ the chef recently told the .
Simeone, who was born in the Scottish city to Italian parents, has previously worked for such prestigious restaurants as Michelin starred Number One at Balmoral and Brian Maule’s acclaimed, Chardon d’Or.
