Chef, television presenter and singer Andi Olivier has once again joined forced with French TV star Fred Sirieix – this time for a Caribbean food pop up called One Love.
The duo worked together on last year’s Remarkable Places to Eat for the BBC, and it is their mutual love of good food that has brought the pair together again.
Their new pop up, which will run for four weeks at the Clapton Country Club during August, will combine Olivier’s Caribbean cooking with Sirieix’s fabulous dessert and wine choices.
The menu at One Love will include:
Wadadli orange & ginger sticky wings
Aunty linnette’s salt fish fritters & mango chow
Saucisson and wadadli gherkin relish
Rotis with a choice of fillings including BBQ chicken, tofu, merguez or Cubano pork
Andi’s chocolate curry goat with loaded French fries
The dessert selection will include:
Fred’s mum’s chocolate mousse
Tarte aux fruits and an assiette de noix de coco
One Love will also have its own dedicated bar called The Department of Life.
“I am very excited because Andi and I are opening a pop up here at the Clapton Country Club. It’s Caribbean food, cooked by Andi, French touches, beautiful French pastries like you have in Paris, great French wines and delicious rum cocktails.” said Sirieix to the website Hot Dinners about the venture.
“The ethos for One Love is quite simple – great food, wonderful people, amazing drinks and good good vibes.” added Oliver.
Andi Oliver and Fred Sirieix’s One Love Pop up will be at the Clapton Country Club from the 20th of August 2020 for one month. For more information, please click here.
