For those of you who are more likely to sing in the shower than on the stage, Battersea’s Bunga Bunga have the perfect solution. It’s called Bunga Bunga Kara Soaky and its sure to make a splash when it opens on the 4th of September 2020.
The event, which will take place every Friday and Saturday, will see the popular London restaurant/bar transformed into a vast tiled bathroom, complete with shower cubicles.
And Bunga Bunga have really gone all out on the little details, too: everything from rubber ducks to loofahs – heck, they’ve even got bath sponges hanging from ceilings! They’re even installing retro telephones at each table so you can make flirty phone calls with groups sitting at other tables.
The real fun begins when guests enter the cubicles, however, as they have been cleverly designed to also function as all in one singing booths – complete with natty shower head microphones.
That’s right – ‘I only sing in the shower’ just won’t cut it at Bunga Bunga this autumn – so, you’d better come up with a better excuse, or prepare yourself for a singing battle.
Bunga Bunga will be selling packages for the event with the basic package including admission to the Karaoke and a three course Italian meal. The menu will include antipasti, Oregano & Garlic Focaccia and a wide variety of pizzas including Bunga’s legendary crispy-based metre-long pizza. Dessert options, meanwhile, will include a mouth watering selection of donuts.
If you really want to push the boat out for the event, however, Bunga Bunga have come up with a deluxe package. This includes entrance to the karaoke, a three course meal and also ‘one and a half hours of free flowing Aperol Spitz’.
So, if you’re looking for some fun then why not spend an evening at Bunga Bunga this autumn? It will certainly give a whole new meaning to the expression ‘a night on the tiles!’
