For those of you who like your double entendres fast and naughty – this is the event for you. An immersive Allo Allo Supper club is coming to the Cahoots bar in London and tickets are on sale now.
The BBC wartime sitcom is known for its cheeky innuendo, broad humour and hilarious farce, and the production team are promising to recreate every last detail of the BBC show, with all the characters you know and love – including bar owner René , his wife Edith Artois, and ridiculous General Herr Flick.
The evening’s entertainment will focus on René’s increasingly desperate attempts to hide a ‘priceless’ painting – ‘The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies’ – away from Hitler’s grasping hands.
The story will be punctuated with typical Allo Allo’ style misunderstandings, slapstick and inpenetrable foreign accents.
And as you watch the story unfold, René’s Café will serve you up a three course with onion soup, coq au vin and fresh berry mille-feuille on the menu.
And just to make sure the evening goes with a bang, the café will also be serving up a range of French themed cocktails.
For those of you who don’t know the Soho bar, Cahoots is a 1940s-themed bar set inside an underground air raid shelter. Visitors to the venue have three spaces to choose from (The Underground, Ticket Hall and Control Room) and a regular diet of live entertainment with live acts, bands and DJs. The self proclaimed “playground for London’s scoundrels” Cahoots goes by the motto “where spirits are high and drinks never run dry”.
Tickets for the Immersive Allo Allo Dining Experience begin at £60 per person. This price includes the three-course meal. Tickets can be purchased here.
