It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a Christmas Market and one of the best in town in recent years has been the one on the Southbank. The Southbank Centre Christmas Market is part of a larger event which sees the area transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with a host of food stalls, festive pop ups and cosy igloos for getting snug. And this year is no different, with the event set to kick of on the 4th of November 2021.
“Stroll along the Thames under twinkling lights and sample indulgent drinks, scrumptious street food and seasonal goodies from our traditional alpine-style chalets” says the Southbank Centre website about the event.
Visitors will be able to browse for stocking fillers, enjoy some festive food treats and enjoy the various entertainments at the event. There’ll also be an outdoor Winter Light exhibition. So, if you want to get in the festive spirit, you’d better head for the river!
