The London Gay Men’s Chorus are back this Christmas with Homo Alone. The boys will be ringing in the festive season in style on the 20th of December at the Clapham Grand.
A night of heartwarming Christmas cheer is promised with the choir providing their usual mix of rousing and singing.
“Twas five nights before Christmas; the boys have a new show. After nine months of lockdown, they’re raring to go…” says the blurb for the show, which is scheduled to two performances on the night.
Due to government restrictions, only 16 members of the 200 strong troop will be able to appear at the show, but knowing the LGMC, that will certainly not stop them from raising the roof.
The London Gay Men’s Chorus are the largest gay choir in Europe, regularly playing to sell out crowds at such venues as the Southbank Centre, Cadogan Hall and the Roundhouse.
And with nearly 20 years under their belts, the choir certainly amassed an impressive range of star collaborations, having worked with the likes of Elton John, Dolly Parton, Mark Ronson, and soprano Lesley Garrett.
So, if you’re free on the 20th of December and you fancy hearing some live music, then the Clapham Grand is the place to be.
