In a period where we could all use as much good news as possible, it is with great delight that we announce the reopening of The Petersham. The Covent Garden based Italian restaurant will be back on the 5th of November 2020, serving both lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday.
Known for its incredible floral displays and carefully curated selection of art, the venue has a delightfully outside in feeling, making it the perfect place for those who love to be surrounded by nature. In addition, a cosy heated terrace offers a great place to hang out outside.
It’s the food that everyone comes for, however. The Petersham’s seasonally inspired British menu is full of highlights, with the venue’s slow food philosophy focusing on the finest seasonal produce and ingredients.
Signature dishes include Haye Farm chicken with caramelised onion puree and mixed alliums; Venison with parsnips and braised red cabbage; and Lemon sole with brown butter, chili, capers, lemon, and parsley.
An extension of the original Petersham Nurseries in Richmond, the Covent Garden branch also hosts a florist, homeware shop with a smaller sister restaurant, La Goccia, next door.
