Yard Sale Pizza is coming to south London

South Londoners need no longer feel deprived when it comes to Yard Sale Pizza as the pizza kings are about to open their sixth restaurant in East Dulwich. Peter Gray reports.

With branches in Walthamstow, Leytonstone, Hackney, Finsbury Park and Clapton, Yard Sale Pizza certainly look to have conquered the North and East of London. However, up until now, South and West Londoners have had to go without the company’s yummy fermented dough pizzas.

Well, that’s all about to change (for South London, at least) with the announcement of a new branch in East Dulwich.

The chain, who were awarded the best ‘cheap eats’ award in the Observer Food Monthly Awards, will be opening their sixth branch in East Dulwich in November. The branch, which will open in Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, will offer all the Yard Sale classics, like the TSB – Tender stem broccoli, parmesan, pine nuts, garlic & olive oil; the Holy Pepperoni – Cobble Lane pepperoni, regular pepperoni & spicy Nduja sausage; and the Mush be Love – Roasted chestnut mushrooms, truffle oil, oregano (no tomato).

Other pizzas in the Yard Sale range include The Aubergine – Garlic roasted aubergine, parmesan crumb & basil and The New Porker – Fresh Sicilian sausage, guindilla chillies, garlic & basil.

The South London branch of the chain will be designed for delivery, however, there will be a few seats within the store available for those who just can’t wait to get home!

Yard Sale Pizza have made a name for themselves in London in recent years, with their fermented dough pizzas and value for money prices. Indeed, in 2017, the company were awarded the best ‘cheap eats’ title in the Observer Food Monthly awards.
