If you’re still getting doughy cravings following Flor restaurant’s lockdown collaboration with ASAP Pizza, then you’ll be delighted to know that the pizza kings are back at Flor for a weekly pop up beginning on the 1st of November 2020.
ASAP Sundays will see Pam Yung and her team return to Borough Market with a mouthwatering selection of their New York style pies. Each week, pizza lovers will be able to take their pick from a menu of old favourites and seasonal classics, alongside a rotating line-up of guest pies from some of Yung’s friends.
On Sunday the 1st of November, ASAP are teaming up with seasonal produce suppliers Natoora for a special event showcasing Yung’s pies and Natoora’s radically sourced seasonal produce. Toppings at the event are expected to include: braised greens, Jerusalem artichokes with winter herbs, ricotta salata and miyagawa, and Black futzu squash with a selection of beers and wines from Beattie & Roberts importers to wash it down.
ASAP’s range of signature pies will also be making a return this winter, so do look out for the “Spice Grrl” (tomato and ‘nduja sauce, caciocavallo, honey, sicilian oregano) and the “Marg & Rita” (tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and spenwood). And for those with a sweet tooth, with dessert options will include tiramisu and tahini ice cream.
Seating options at the restaurant include a selection of tables inside the venue as well as several tables outside in the heated marketplace.
