If you love beer and festive pop ups then Camden is definitely the place to be this Christmas as the area says hello to a Bavarian beer hall experience.
The Camden Winter Beer Hall will take up resident at Camden’s Electric Ballroom from early December with the promise of quality brews, Bavarian street food and live music.
The venue, which will be transformed into “an escapist beer hall with festive snowy décor” for the event, should provide the perfect setting for celebrating the end of the 2nd national lockdown.
The organisers of the event are keen to support the UK’s vibrant craft-brewing scene, which means the beer hall will showcase beers from some of the UK’s best independent brewers as well as traditional festive favourites like mulled wine and hot apple cider.
Food wise, you can expect a selection of traditional Bavarian delicacies, including Bratwurst from the Brat Bros, as well as baked pretzels and churros.
And if you fancy shaking a leg, there’ll be music from live ‘drum and brass’ collective The No Limit Street Band who will be playing a mix of party covers, dance music brass renditions and festive hits. This will be augmented by a selection of DJ sets from the Club Fromage team.
Naturally, with the pandemic still exerting a terrible toll on the UK, health and safety will be prioritised, with bookings limited to 6 people per group from the same household.
Sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5.30pm to 10pm and Saturday afternoon from 12pm to 4.30pm.
The Camden Winter Beer Hall has closed because of the Coronavirus Crisis. More information about the event can be found here.
