A South London institution, Morley’s Fried Chicken is now crossing the Thames to open two venues in North London. The company, which has for many years been seen as the best fried chicken vendor south of the river, has already opened its new Brick Lane shop, with a second shop in Finsbury Park to follow.
The two openings will take the total number of Morley’s Fried Chicken shops to an impressive 42, with the chain’s branches dotted around South London and the surrounding suburbs.
Founded in 1985, Morley’s have built up an impressive reputation for their food with celebrities like Big Narstie, Krept and Konan waxing lyrical about the chain’s chicken, ribs, and burgers in recent years.
So, Chicken Cottage, Louie’s, Mother Clucker – be warned: there’s a new kid in town!
Morley’s Brick Lane shop is at 60-62 Brick Lane, E1 6RF. The chain’s Finsbury Park location has not been announced yet. More information about the company can be found here.
