Sam’s Riverside
If you don’t know the restaurant already then you really ought to do something about that soon. Sam’s Riverside is one of the finest seafood restaurants in London and very probably the UK too. Headed up by restaurateur Sam Harrison (Sam’s Brasserie/Harrison’s), the venue sits on a gorgeous stretch of the River Thames in Hammersmith which affords unparralleled views of the Thames.
Set over 4000 square feet, the venue’s warm and inviting white walled interior boasts its own private dining room, cocktail bar and outside terrace.
It’s the food that makes the place really special, however. Our restaurant critic Peter Gray was certainly impressed when he visited the eaterie in late August.
“My trip to Sam’s Riverside is a pleasure from start to finish” he said. “The views are outstanding, the interiors warm and stylish, the service excellent – but it is the food that really has me purring. I leave Hammersmith with a spring in my step. The bridge may be out, but Sam’s Riverside is very much back in business”.
