Murder on the Menu

You'd better watch what you eat at the Mocksomer Village Fete Cake Competition - a killer is on the loose! Peter Gray reports.

Fever’s Murder on the Menu is promising armchair sleuths a tasty plot full of mystery and intrigue. Can you get to the bottom of a crime by interviewing the chief suspect? The clock is ticking!  

The premise:

There has been a murder at the Mocksomer Village fete and you are tasked with working out who did it. The police suspect that the poison was in one of the competition’s cakes which means that absolutely everyone is under suspicion. But just who added murder to the menu?  Celebrity judge Jayne Fondant? Or TV chef Mario Mascarpone? And what was the motive for the murder? It’s your job to decide.

What you need to do:

Fever’s online murder mysteries present a puzzle and then challenge participants to solve it. To do so you’ll need to use all your powers of deduction and reasoning as you:

  • Meet mysterious characters who all have something to hide
  • Decipher plenty of clues and secrets waiting to be revealed
  • Ask questions to discern the true intentions of shady individuals
  •  Experience an interactive plot and have a giggle at the antics of the cast!

The details:

Murder On The Menu will take place on the 6th of March between taking place at 7pm on Fridays. The game can be accessed on a desktop computer, laptop or tablet at home, however, players must be 12 or over to take part. Tickets for the experience cost £12 with each ticket allowing one household to access the mystery.
