A hit and run, an attempted cover up, and a father’s dilemma are at the heart of Sky Atlantic’s Your Honor. Originally shown in the United States on Showtime, the series looks set to set thrill British viewers when it makes its UK debut in early March 2021.
Your Honor stars Bryan Cranston as judge Michael Desiato, a man whose life changes dramatically when his son is involved in a tragic accident.
Desperate to cover up the boy’s crime, Desiato becomes entangled in an increasingly dangerous game of cat and mouse to conceal what his son has done.
Cranston is best known for his role in Breaking Bad, where he played drug dealer Micheal White. A career defining role, Cranston received a string of Emmy nominations for his performance.
The actor’s inclusion in the cast of Your Honor has caused great excitement in the entertainment industry with his new role drawing comparisons to his breakthrough hit.
Your Honor is blessed with a stellar creative team, too, with BAFTA award winning writer Peter Moffat penning the screenplay and the Good Wife’s Robert & Michelle King acting as executive producers of the drama. All in all, Your Honor looks like it is going to be another big hit for Sky Atlantic.

What is Your Honor about?
Adapted from the award-winning Israeli series Kvodo, Your Honor begins with a hit and run. Judge’s son Adam Desiato has struck and killed a man on the motorway and it later transpires that the man he has killed is the son of a mob boss!
When a panicked Adam confesses to his father, Michael, the older man senses the danger his son is in and tells him to keep the crime secret!
Your Honor follows Michael’s increasingly desperate attempts to keep his son’s crime secret. Forved to defend his family, it seems that there is nothing he will not do. As matters escalate, however, the rest of the Desiato family are soon drawn into the judge’s tangled web.
Your Honor cast
In addition to Cranston, Your Honor stars Hunter Doohan (What If) as Adam Desiato, Micheal Stuhlbarg as crime boss Jimmy Baxter, and LA Law’s Blair Underwood as the investigate reporter Roland Carter. Love Life’s Hope Davis also pops up in the series, playing Baxter’s spiky wife, Gina.
Who’s behind the camera on Your Honor?
Writer and director Peter Moffat is the man responsible for the series. The BAFTA awarding winning star’s previous credits include Criminal Justice and The Village.
As well as taking the lead role in the series, Bryan Cranson is also involved behind the camera too, as he is listed as an executive producer on Your Honor, too.
The show’s other executive producers are The Good Wife’s Robert and Michelle King while BAFTA-winning director Edward Berger (Patrick Melrose) directs the first three episodes.
