The Queen’s House Dining Domes

Ditch the fast food and get yourself down to Greenwich for London's most elegant dining opportunity. Sophia Savage reports.

If you’ve ever fancied dining like a monarch, then now’s your chance. The Queen’s House Dining Domes are this summer most elegant dining opportunity and they are opening on the 7th of May 2021.

Set on the immaculately manicured lawns of the UNESCO world heritage site Greenwich Park, the domes are situated right on the doorstep of Inigo Jones’ magnificent Queen’s House. Built between 1616 and 1635 for the wife of James the 1st, Queen Anne of Denmark, the house was the first classical building in London.

The house recently featured in Netflix’s blockbuster drama series, Bridgerton. Substituting for the far larger Somerset House, The Queen’s House featured in several key scenes in the drama.

If you are a fan of the series, then you will definitely love dining at the venue. Not just for the picture setting but also for the impressive views the domes afford. Unrestricted views of Greenwich Park and combined with stunning views of the River Thames and the London skyline.
