Hullabaloo At Ally Pally

Alexandra Palace's Hullabaloo Festival is promising a line up of comedy talent to rival any other. Peter Gray reports.

2020 was certainly no laughing matter, but now that it looks like we’re coming out the other side – perhaps this is as good a time as any to start to see the funny side of life again.

In order to help us to achieve this, a fantastic new comedy show called Hullabaloo is winging its way to Alexandra Palace this May bank Holiday. The event will take place in the Palace’s rather fetching beer garden, which incidentally boasts some of the best views of the capital from North London.

“Welcome to Hullabaloo, Ally Pally’s alfresco comedy extravaganza, a long bank holiday weekend of big laughs, larks and good times on the Palace’s terrace. Featuring a smorgasbord of top-flight comedy talent performing on a splendid outdoor stage, all ready and raring to go across ten jam-packed shows” says the blurb for the festival on Alexandra Palace’s website.

That smorgasbord of talent includes Ed Byrne, Milton Jones, Russell Howard, Nish Kumar, and Nina Conti. Each comedian will perform a stand alone gig with a range of special guests stars set to join them.

The food & drink at the event is going to be equally top notch with American style burgers from the Browski Burgers, Mexican tacos and burritos courtesy of Hermanos Tacos, finger licking good vegan food from Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life and hot and cold beverages from Samba Coffee.
