James Bond and London have much in common. Both are enduring cultural icons who enjoy fast paced lives and represent the best of British. It’s little surprise, therefore, that the London Cabaret Club have chosen the super spy as the theme for their hit production, London Never Dies.
Hosted at the 1920s art-deco Bloomsbury Ballroom, this unique cabaret experience has earned phenomenal critical acclaim ever since it debuted seven years ago.
Described as an ‘immersive culinary, musical and dance odyssey’, the show transports guests into the world of the secret service’s most elite super spy, using singers, dancers, and world-class specialty acts (look out in particular for the dancing dogs!) along the way.
And because being a super spy is such exerting work, guests will be able to indulge in a three or four course gourmet meal with canapés and cocktails to stiffen their resolve.
And Bond being Bond, visitors should expect their meal and drinks to come with a few unexpected thrills – somersaulting waiters being the most visible! The acrobatic waiters will be serving up a range of themed cocktails, as well as the obligatory martinis…shaken not stirred of course!
To make the event even more special, the Cabaret Club are launching a special Halloween adaptation of London Never Dies this autumn, with a Mexican Day of the Dead twist inspired by the Bond film Spectre and featuring specially designed menus celebrating the flavours of El Dia De Los Muertos.
London Never Dies is at the Bloomsbury Ballroom on Fridays and Saturdays until the 20th of November 2021. More information about the event can be found here.
