Visitors will be able to channel their inner Alastair Cook at the event, which will combine captivating lights and state-of-the-art technology into one thrilling experience.

“Swing for sixes in specially designed nets under pioneering UV lights” says the Sixes Social Club website about the event which will take place at the company’s Fitzrovia branch.
“Pit your skills against friends and family, and find out who’s a one-cap wonder, and who’s got a technique that Sachin Tendulkar would applaud.” Competitors will be able to test themselves against some of the world’s finest bowlers, with the results recorded on a global leader board.

Sixes are as famous for their food and drink as they are for their games and the good news is that the company’s popular barbeque themed menu will be available to UV Cricket participants. The menu, which was created for Sixes by the founders of Mac & Wild, features such gourmet delights as whisky glazed short rib, house-smoked sausages and the legendary beef brisket volcano – which features a combination of braised beef burnt ends, bone marrow, Applewood cheddar, chilli, bone marrow flatbreads, crispy onions and green sauce.

Guests will be able to wash it all down with a range of bespoke cocktails with the Eton Mess, Ashes Manhattan, and the Pickled Ploughman among the most popular choices.
The Mess features an intriguing mix of Strawberry Pampero Especial rum, ginger foam and brûléed meringue, the Ashes Manhattan, meanwhile, is based around the Glenmorangie 10 whisky, while the Pickled Ploughman combines Pickled Tanqueray gin and sherry vinegar.
