In a period where young designers are coming increasingly to the fore, London Fashion Week remains the No.1 place to discover new talent. And when it comes to fashion shows featuring up and coming designers, the University of the Arts London show is second to none.
The standard of talent is unfailingly high and the show itself never disappoints. So, if you want a fascinating insight into where fashion is heading – this is one event that you will not want to miss!

Talking of Central Saint Martins, another one of the school’s alumni will be showicasing their fashion at LFW22. Nicholas Daley launched his eponymous label in 2015, and the designer has subsequently made quite a name for himself exploring his dual-ethnic heritage in his fashion.
Much of Daley’s inspiration comes from modern pop culture, with music, film and dance references predominating. With regards to the designer’s AW22 collection, however, it will be fascinating to see how Daley presents his iconic and bespoke textiles and tailoring this time round.
Yuhan Wang

With her romantic and fanciful aesthetics and a guiding ethos which promotes female empowerment, Yuhan Wang is another designer to look out for at February’s London Fashion Week. Famed for mixing traditional Chinese views on femininity with a western sensibility, it will be interesting to see how Wang utilises exposure and conservativeness in 2022.
Di Petsa

Finally, do keep an eye out for designer Di Petsa and her stunning drapery at this February’s event. The designer may be best known for the ‘wet-look’ dresses which have adorned such icons as Kylie Jenner and Bella Hadid, but at the heart of Di Petsa’s work is the desire to illustrate female sexuality and promote female empowerment. It is this mix of power politics and smart design that places Di Petsa among the ones to watch at this month’s London Fashion Week.
